Passing and failing are judged against each measure's threshold, marked by the line on its bar: a simple majority unless noted (Colorado constitutional amendments need 55%, many California local taxes need two-thirds, and Nebraska initiatives also need yes votes equal to 35% of all ballots cast). "Passing" or "Failing" is shown once at least 60% of the expected vote is counted; before that, the side that's ahead is shown as "too early to call." Measures are passed or failed only when AP, Decision Desk HQ or election officials call them. Measures: Progress Report's 2026 ballot initiative tracker. Results: official state and county results sites first, then AP, Decision Desk HQ and Ballotpedia as reported. Updates every 30 minutes on election night (8pm–3am ET), then five times a day through Nov. 6 as late ballots are counted.
